In the world of architecture and interior design, the word "waste" is often seen as an endpoint. But at Woodlam Indonesia, we see it as a beginning. As a premier wood consultant, manufacture, and build firm, we are committed to providing end-to-end solutions that bridge the gap between aesthetic excellence and environmental responsibility.

This commitment is perfectly embodied in our latest initiative:

What is ReWaste?

ReWaste is more than just a design project; it is a movement to transform production remnants into meaningful stories. First introduced at the Bintaro Design District (BDD) 2022 through the "Cloud Pod Pavilion," ReWaste focuses on preserving sustainability by giving wood waste a "second life".

For our latest chapter, we’ve partnered with a brand that shares our DNA for conscious consumption; SaladStop!.

A Green Collaboration at Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK)

When SaladStop! decided to refresh their outlets with a greener, more sustainable concept, Woodlam Indonesia stepped in as their strategic partner. Located in the vibrant hub of Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK), Jakarta, this collaboration serves as a real-world showcase of how the F&B and construction industries can work together to reduce their environmental footprint.

SaladStop!’s "Eat Wide Awake" philosophy extends beyond the bowl. They believe that where you eat is just as important as what you eat. By integrating recycled materials into their interior, the PIK outlet has become a space for dialogue about sustainability.

From Raw Waste to Refined Interiors

As a wood consultant and manufacturer, Woodlam Indonesia oversaw the entire process—from identifying usable local remnants to conducting design experiments that maintain the wood's natural character while ensuring structural integrity.

The result is a collection of functional interior elements that include:

  • Custom Tables: Crafted from repurposed wood, showing that durability and style can go hand-in-hand

  • Wall Panelling: Adding warmth and texture to the space using reclaimed materials.

  • Artistic Installations: transforming the dining experience into a reflection of conscious design.

Why This Matters for Architects and Developers

For architects, contractors, and developers, the ReWaste x SaladStop! project proves that sustainable choices don't require compromising on aesthetics. At Woodlam Indonesia, we provide the expertise to turn eco-friendly concepts into high-quality, manufactured realities.

We believe that beauty can be born from what was once left behind. Whether you are building a commercial space or a private residence, our goal is to help you choose materials that tell a story of longevity and care for our planet.

Build the Future with Woodlam Indonesia

As we rebuild our digital home at www.woodlamindonesia.com, we invite you to explore the possibilities of wood. From consultancy to final build, we are here to ensure your projects are not only beautiful but also mindful of the world we live in.

Let’s create something meaningful together.
